It is an event associated with elite athletics, wine tourism, the world of wine, adventure sports and recreation leisure time; that summons local, national and foreign guests and that crosses the Wine roads, for the second consecutive time.
The place chosen for this competitive and recreational competition is the district of Agrelo belonging to one of the most important wine departments in the country, Luján de Cuyo.
Each edition adds more and more followers. So much so that in recent years has brought together more than 1,200 athletes, amateurs and professionals.
The circuits can be run running, individually or mixed double, in their categories of 21, 10 and 5K. The particularity of this event is that mountain bike fans can also participate individually in the categories of 30, 21, 10 and 5K.
Whichever option is chosen, all participants will go through beautiful landscapes of the 11 participating wineries, vineyards and snowy mountains.
The kids also have a 500-meter recreational circuit where they can participate running or on their bike.
And since it is an event closely related to wine, the winemakers of the different wineries will be able to register in an exclusive circuit, recreational but with obstacles, of 500 meters where they will be able to demonstrate their physical abilities.
Chip system is used for electronic measurement of runner times in the race.
The rules are simple: one exit, several checkpoints, specific places of hydration and supply of fruits and cereals.
Each participant will obtain with the inscription T-shirt, medal, bottle of gift wine, photos of the race, insurance for accidents, right to post-competition massage, medical assistance of high complexity if necessary.
Once the competition is finished, there are awards, wine tastings, oils and snacks.
The purpose of this event is to promote the sporting, healthy, free, environmental care, adventure tourism and culture of the most important beverage industry in Argentina (wine). The only mandatory requirement is the sporting spirit and the desire to have fun healthy alone, between friends or family, in an unprecedented sporting experience. To make it even more perfect, part of the money raised will be donated to Fundavita in its fight against cancer.
