Last January, Trapiche Visitor Center opened its new winery located in the municipality of Maipú, just 20 minutes from the city of Mendoza. Visitors can learn a Renaissance Florentine style, considered an icon of the Mendoza winemaking architecture, completely restored, recycled and put into value combining tradition and cutting edge technology to develop high-end wines from the cellar.
Also learn about the history of Argentina’s wine industry around the museum, which preserves the original elements and machinery beginning of the twentieth century and is located next to the old railroad tracks carrying wine to major consumption centers. A space that goes back to the origin of wine from Mendoza and the work of European immigrants. Surrounded by hills of olive groves and vineyards that match practices bio-dynamic processes, the visitor a unique experience within the Wine Route in Mendoza. Tours are conducted in two languages (Spanish and English); last approximately an hour and a half and is suggested by reservation.
