Every year with the onset of the summer season, the Undersecretary of Tourism in Chile launches major promotional campaigns, aiming to attract inhabitants of the neighboring country to our lands. This year, the start of the season coincides with the activities planned for the celebration of Chile’s independence in the province. The advertising campaign includes a striking street, a complete supplement with the attractions of Mendoza in the daily El Mercurio and news stories in major newspapers in the neighboring country. The print component recite the slogan “The’ll spend quite sure. Mendoza awaits you” within a picture frame in which images of the products most wanted by Chileans elect Mendoza as a tourist destination are presented. Spa, gourmet, shopping, among others, invite you to enjoy a wide range of recreational opportunities, confirming the ideas of enjoyment in a security framework. Numbers Argentine and Chilean art and food courts in both countries will be the activities of the “Feast of the brotherhood 2007” organized by the Ministry of Tourism and Culture, the Municipality of Capital, the Consulate General of Chile and Chilean Gabriela Mistral Community .
