In the last 5 years the Aconcagua Provincial Park went from receiving 2,000 to 7,000 visitors a year, 85% foreigners. People are starting to realize the benefits of having the services of specialized guides for their journeys. A well trained guide, and provide guidance for the tourist to enjoy the mountain safely, helping to care for the ecosystem. The guides and rangers play a vital role in caring for the environment, especially with the explosion of visitors recorded in the area. In line with this growth, in Mendoza, Provincial Guide School and High Mountain Trekking is increasingly candidates who, after passing an examination receive comprehensive training that enables them to practice responsibly, passion and commitment visitors and the environment.
