Alta Vista Winery born in 1998 at the hands of a french family D’Aulan, who produces wines in different countries, with the desire to achieve a perfect combination of two emblematic varieties (Malbec and Torrontés) between the french savoir faire and the argentinean passion.
It has five farms spread over Luján de Cuyo, Uco Valley and Cafayate in Salta, planted with more than 80 years old vineyards, in which the characteristics of the terroir provide the perfect conditions for growing high quality grapes: cold weather, large thermal amplitudes, humidity, light and clay loam soils in some cases and in the higher areas sandy loam soils.
The winery is a historic building dating from 1899 that was completely renovated, including the latest winemaking technologies. It is characterized by small volume tanks allowing a highly qualitative winemaking. It has a beautiful underground cellar which houses the barrels of aging wine, a key element in the development of reserve wines, which are aged for a long time in French oak barrels.
