The Telteca Reservation is a forest of centennial carob trees, representative of an ecosystem that used to occupy great extensions of the territory of the province.
At the beginning of century while other sweet carobs succumbed due to the desertification, the roots of these trees looked for the water ten meters of depth. The reservation was created with the intention of preserving the life of some species in danger of extinction.
