* Parque Provincial Tupungato
It is an area where there is the Cerro Tupungato, the second in importance in the Andes Mountain, an incomparable and untouched beauty, making it very attractive to practice adventure tourism, with the possibility of doing mountain climbing, hiking, horseback riding at the high mountain, viewing condors, rappelling, zip lining; in addition, it is possible to do ecological and mining tourism.
* Ecotourism
The Reserva del Condor Andino is located at Estancia Las Aguaditas. 3 kilometres from the route there are the shelter Quebrada del Condor, which offers accommodation to tourists and from where they can start the horseback rides and photographic safaris.
* Religious Tourism
It is possible to visit: the Cristo Rey del Valle (San José), the Nuestra Señora del Socorro (Centre), the Capilla histórica Sagrado Corazón (San José), the Monasterio del Cristo Orante (Gualtallary), the Church Nuestra Señora del Rosario (Anchoris), the Cruz Negra (Zapata), the Capilla Nuestra Señora del Perpetuo Socoro (Santa Clara), the San Vicente Chapel (La Arboleda).
* Camping Municipal
It is one of the most popular of the department, and has been remodelled to make it more convenient and attractive to visitors.
* Mountain Circuit
It is also known as the Corredor Productivo Turístico La Carrera. It starts at the district of San José and ends in Potrerillos, located in the Department of Lujan de Cuyo.
Going towards the northwest, on Provincial Route No. 89, you go up slowly, through hills and streams, whose waters descend from the Cordón del Plata; 44 kilometres further you get to the Andean Village of Las Vegas. In this beautiful journey crops of potatoes and cereals can be seen.
