Professionals from different areas discussed priority to finalize the zoning and management plan of the town of Puente del Inca works. In a few days there will be sectoral reports, which nourish the Comprehensive Plan of Puente del Inca, which provides for the conservation of the monument. The actions are driven by the Ministry of Environment. Professionals from different areas and institutions gathered at the nature reserve to move forward in making a diagnosis, as a basis for the formulation of a comprehensive plan for the recovery and enhancement of this natural monument. This is the first time since 1950 – to meet professionals and specialists from different institutions to agree on actions and measures for the short, medium and long term view of the rescue and enhancement of the Natural Bridge. Also discussed was what the priority work required to finalize the zoning and management plan provided the village of Puente del Inca are. The Director of Environmental Planning and Urban Development, Diego Fernández, stressed the importance of this meeting as a diagnosis of the situation of this natural area and within a few days shall submit technical reports for each area with the idea held develop a Comprehensive Plan Inca Bridge. This task will focus on the field of Environmental Planning and Urban Development (DOADU), an agency under the Ministry of Environment. Participating technicians and professionals DOADU and Renewable Natural Resources Management with professionals: Municipality of Las Heras, Historic-Cultural Coordination, Department of Hydraulics and recovery specialists Heritage monuments. Among the points that worked waterworks are related to the protection of natural bridge abutments on Cuevas River and the underpinning of the ruins of the baths. The professionals were able to observe the importance of urgent action on the separation of the construction and progress of the constituent material of the bridge over the ruins. They also agreed that measures of temporary closure of the protected area should continue until it is finished with these works.
