Bus Vitivinícola is the new manner to tour and experience the famous WINE ROUTES, departing from the main hotels of the City of Mendoza, well-known as “International Capital of Wine”. The Bus is an excellent opportunity to visit the country’s most important wine-making regions.
The Bus Vitivinícola service offers a Hop On & Hop Off modality: a modern system by which, with a single ticket, passengers can get on the Bus at fixed stops and get off at those wineries they choose to visit and tour. This system offers in turn two modalities to fit into each passenger’s budget: a full day or a half day option, which allows them to visit from two to four wineries in the same day. Once either type of journey has finished, the bus returns to the fixed stops located throughout the City of Mendoza.
The minibus has also a bilingual guide on board who assists passengers to schedule their day according to the wineries they would like to visit. Some places offer in addition guided tours in different languages.
Departures: Wednesdays and Fridays
Departure time: from 7:55 to 9:10 a.m. for Full Day or Half Day morning tour; 2 p.m. for Half Day afternoon tour, depending on the departure point chosen (along this period of time passengers are picked up).
Arrival time: 6:45 p.m. for Full Day or Half Day afternoon tour; 2 p.m. for Half Day morning tour, depending on the arrival point chosen.
The tour “South Luján Wine Route” includes the following wineries: Chandon, Zolo, Susana Balbo Wines, Séptima, Casarena and Terrazas de Los Andes. The bus picks passengers up at the hotel, and around 9:50 a.m. it arrives at the first place: Chandon. In each winery visitors pay for a ticket which includes a tour and wine tasting; if interested, visitors may also try the gastronomic services offered at any of these wineries, combined with their best wines. ——
There is one-to-two-hour time between transfers to provide passengers enough time to visit the wineries in no hurry. In this tour, the optional visit is conducted in Spanish and English.
