It is a social, sporting, competitive and supportive event that already has three successful editions of which nearly 300 athletes participate.
The Adventure Race transcends the foot of the Andes, in the area of Uspallata belonging to the department of Las Heras. It has distances of 5, 10 and 21K and has full support from the Government of Mendoza and the Municipality of Las Heras. It is a career linked to health, sports and promotes respect and care for the environment.
The circuit has as place of departure and arrival the Hotel Valle Andino. The corridors will travel along varied and colorful roads, characterized by mountain trails of great natural beauty, with an ideal altimetry ranging from 2,000 to 2,400 meters above sea level. This, although it is a difficulty, does not stop being an attraction of demand for the runners. In the case of the 21K category, the highest point is the Hill of Seven Colors.
It should be noted that since its first edition the race has also solidarity goals. To this end, we have worked together with the entire Communication team; University Extension, Degree in Kinesiology and the Nutrition Degree from the University of Mendoza, with the aim of undertaking nutritional education actions, of enormous support and help to the community of Uspallata. And, under the motto “What does not help you to run, it serves other feet”, marathoners and assistants are invited to donate their used shoes to those who need them.
