The Wine Race is from the year 2012 in Lulunta, Maipú, malbec productive area par excellence. Is organized by Finca La Berra every year for participants to live an experience in contact with nature, while enjoying beautiful scenery and fine wines. The race has the quality of Boutique, since the main thing is not to seek competition, but prioritize the challenge of athletics.
In addition to wine, you can taste gourmet dishes paired with excellent wines, listen to DJ’s and live music. Travel distances can be: 3 kilometers recreational or competitive 10 kilometers. Since the event is held for several years, it has established itself as one of the most interesting track and field events in the region.
Younger fellows also have a place in this event, participating with other children of their age. Registration is accessible and includes an official shirt of the race, in addition to the finisher medal and access to hydration points. The catering is optional and has an extra cost for each participant. The latest edition featured the presence of about 300 athletes in competitive mode, and recreation with a total of 100 runners. In the category Kids attended by about 30 children.
The organization considers the distances increase for the following years, offering an entertaining tour of the surrounding hills and the farm.
