The MX Motocross Mendocino Championship is held every year in our province, starting the first competition of the season during the month of March of each year. This event is supervised by the Mendoza Federation of Motor Sport, which in the year 2018 resurfaced the Mendoza motocross, after several years of lethargy. More than 150 pilots participate in the championship, not only from Mendoza and surrounding provinces, but also from all over the country.
Generally, each of the dates has a similar schedule of activities, starting with training, followed by the classification tests and ending with the two-man contest in Open A, Open B, Master, Junior, Promotional, Ladies, Enduro, Beginners and 85cc.
Each year only a maximum of 40 pilots are admitted, per class, who are selected through timed tests or in case there is a technical problem that precludes the realization of the timed tests, the selection is made according to the current Ranking or the previous year for the case of the first date of the Championship.
Each of the races (sleeves) gives a score that is added to define the last winners of the championship, the winners who are given as a prize, large sums of money.
