Tupungato is located in the western part of the province of Mendoza. Is the gateway to the Valle de Uco, and there are large plantations of vegetables, fruit trees and various crops. From Mendoza, accessed by the National Route 40 to the junction with Provincial Highway No. 86. It can also be reached via the National Road No. 7 until Potrerillos, then spliced with Provincial Highway No. 89.
The mansions Circuit is a pedestrian walk, organized to old houses built by Italian immigrants in the early twentieth century visit. The circuit is part, in turn, of the Wine Roads. The houses are a set of old buildings, and many still retain their furniture and their original state.
Besides knowing the old houses and architecture, visitors can taste typical dishes of the area and the history and culture of Tupungato and Mendoza. The ride is located in the Belgrano Avenue, the main artery of the city, where you can also visit bars, restaurants and typical places of Tupungato.
You can also visit the main square and the Our Lady of Perpetual Help, dedicated to the patron saint of Tupungato Parish Church. If you feel like exploring the area, you can visit the Tupungato Provincial Park, showing the nicest in the area between the Front Range and the foothills. The place also has warehouses, which are part of the Wine Routes and you can visit to taste local wine production.
