(Road of La Difunta Correa – 220 KM)
The Deceased Correa is a pagan mythical figure in religion, it is said that miracles occur in the sanctuary of the Deceased Correa, and thousands of people visit it every year to pay their respects. The sanctuary is located in the small town of Vallecito, in the province of San Juan.
While this is a tour carried out by hundreds of devoted devotees of this Saint, it is a good option for enduro lovers. A route of pure adrenaline crossed by lagoons, dunes, fences, train tracks and endless challenges that the road imposes.
Leaving from the city of Mendoza by RN40, before our destination we will find several posts in our path. The first of these is the famous Laguna del Rosario, an immense plain in an inhospitable desert, a great mystery for man.
Then the town of Jocoli. Following the same route for 100 km we reach Media Agua. Turning to the right, we join with the RP 319 that we will cross for 17 KM. Then we turn left to take RP162. 30 KM more on the way, they cross us with RP 279.Finally 70 km by RN 141 they find us in the Sanctuary of La Difunta Correa.
