The area in question is behind the alluvial containment dam, upstream of the Supe neighborhood, in Godoy Cruz, southwest of Cerro de la Gloria. This proposal starts at the Fries Dike, passes the pot and then enters a circuit of steps. After crossing a series of cornices, Papagallos crosses the street. Here starts the Papagallos Municipal district. in descent, crosses the wall and ends in front of the zoo, in El Barcito.
For being one of the first circuits traced in the history of Mendoza enduro, it has been signaled with signage both in the dry rivers and in the paths made by animals and in the so-called evacuation pits (paths made with road machinery) with the purpose of indicating to the pilots which are the zones that have a double sense of circulation, which only sense and to signal also points of contramano. This work has been carried out by individuals with whom the municipality maintains a close relationship with the stallholders in the area since it is an important tourist potential for adventure that should be conserved as such.
It is worth mentioning that this rather hard circuit consists of a very technical trail with the Las Bateitas, Papagayos and the tributaries of the Frías dam. Dust in suspension that makes it difficult to travel some sections, gutters, steps, thick stones. However, running in it distills adrenaline and the passion of two wheels. It is unique, with history and charisma. It also impacts the landscape. It is a sample of the flora and fauna of the desert Mendoza.
