With the start and arrival established in Las Retamas Barrio Privado, the Giménez Riili Circuit Marathon is held, taking advantage of the beautiful landscapes of Rodeo del Medio, in Maipú. Its charming landscape, its peaceful life, the right touch of rural life combined with an interesting urban development, make Rodeo del Medio an ideal place to play this marathon already officialized within the annual running calendar.
The tour invites the runners to cross part of a town known for the presence of prominent figures in our history as Lucila Barrionuevo de Bombal or Lieutenant General Rufino Ortega, who was governor of Mendoza. And even San Martin himself, who made his way through that corner of Maipu in his travels to and from Buenos Aires. Rodeo del Medio, which has assets such as the Maria Auxiliadora Sanctuary, the Bombal mansion, the Casa de las Bóvedas and many others, are the perfect setting for this proposal that year after year brings together more than 300 athletes.
This competition that is experienced as a great party included the categories 10k, 5k, 2k and kids, in their versions male, female and mixed couples: male and female. The timing for the 10k and 5k will be through the modern Chip system. Only the 10k add up the score of the table.
For the end, an After Run at the Club House of Las Retamas, where there is live DJ, catering, wines and drinks.
NOTE: Carrera del Vino (April), Dalvian Circuit (May), Circuito del Oeste (September), Circuito Gimenez Riili (November) and Night Circuit Villavicencio / Uspallata (December) are marathons that make up the same championship. All athletes participating in the races add 1 (one) point at least, for the sole fact of participating, regardless of their classification. The winner will be selected from the sum of points he has reached by participating in at least three of these marathons. At the end of the championship, in the month of December, Cups will be awarded to the top 10 in the general classification of each genre and with cash to the top 3 classified in the general of each gender as well.
