Includes the departments of Lavalle and some areas of Maipú, Guaymallén, Las Heras and San Martin. It covers the areas of lesser height above sea level, with altitudes between 700 and 600 meters. The vineyards are located on land with slope, bathed by the waters of the Mendoza River. The region is characterized by the production of white wines like Chenin and Torrontes.
