High mountain circuit, mostly in compacted dirt road curves on the highest part (reaching up to 3800 metres, soon after, lowering to 3300 metres, height of the lake). To make this circuit, it is advisable to check the status of the Provincial Route 98, in Eugenio Bustos or Pareditas. It is desirable to use high vehicles. This tour of two hundred seventy kilometres takes up a day. It is operable from December to March.
Starting from the city of San Carlos, going south through Route 40, with asphalt until Pareditas, the way continues on the old Route 40 (compacted dirt) up to the Provincial Route 98, which turns towards the west and starts to go up in curves, and then down to the Laguna del Diamante.
