In this circuit that integrates the three departments of the Central Zone the height does not exceed eleven hundred metres above the sea level.
This tour with entirely paved roads requires half a day. It is operable throughout the year.
Starting from the town of Tupungato, going southwards through the Provincial routes 89 and 96, you can visit wineries, sawmills, packinghouses and fruit cellars, vineyards, olive tree plantations, varied vegetables and fruit orchards (apple, pear, peach , apricot, walnut, etc.). All these places are the backbone of the economy of the area.
Later on, reaching the Route 40, entering the Tunuyán department, with the same activities and you will be able to visit the homonymous city (11000 inhabitants), which has a dynamic commercial centre. Continuing south on Route 40, you will pass by many agro-industrial establishments until you reach San Carlos, where three locations concentrate the services and major wineries as well as a fruit packing department: La Consulta, San Carlos and Eugenio Bustos. The return can be done from San Carlos to the west by the Provincial Route 92, visiting an area predominantly horticultural: Vista Flores, and then through Route 94, you can return to the National Route 40, in the region of Tunuyán towards Tupungato.
