Adventure Tourism Circuit. This journey requires five days. It is operable in the summer.
There are four starting points. Two in Tunuyán from Los Árboles or from the Manzano Histórico. Tourists are received in the farms, where they can try the saddles for the horseback riding and go this way to the Manzano Histórico westwards, through the Provincial Route 94.
Near the Manantiales Valley, the ride goes towards the Southwest, passing by the Argentine Portillo four thousand five hundred metres above the sea level, then going down to the Tunuyán river valley and going up again to the Portillo de Piuquenes (international border with Chile). From that point, you go towards some hot springs and from there you continue by car to Santiago de Chile.
The other two starting points are located in San Carlos, from the Fuerte San Carlos (la Posta Sanmartiniana), making a similar tour to the previous two, and from the Diamante lake, passing by the foot of the Maipo volcano reaching San Jose del Maipo in Chile.
Other circuits:
A) From any of the three heads of the department, there are options of adventure tourism and mountaineering, towards the Maipo volcano, or to the Provincial Park Tupungato, with the Tupungato (6800 m) and Bravard (5913 m) volcanoes.
B) From the Manzano Histórico, you can hire horseback rides to the Valle de Manantiales.
