Circuit up to Papagayo, passing the San Isidro waterfall to the Pampa de los Ñangos (92.55 KM)
The journey begins climbing from the Municipal district Papagayos, a charming setting for lovers of motorcycles in our province. Place in which almost 30 years ago the first bicicross races (BMX) took off; until the San Isidro Faldeo. This trail goes skirting the hills and links the Tierritas Coloradas with the Pampa de los Ñangos. It is a very fluid trail that goes down and up with gentle slopes. In the middle of this path you pass through the source of the San Isidro River. It crosses an imposing landscape that ends with the exit to the Tobogán entrance to the Pampa de los Ñangos. The part of the route that follows, begins with a demanding descent with many stones and steps that can be taken at good speed and ends in a wide descent that if you have the temperance to fully release the brakes, you can develop the maximum speed of all the way round The route begins the return by RN N ° 13, until the second monolith. As we said the Route N ° 13, it is an old route that was left unused with the creation of the current International Route N ° 7, so that over the years the route deteriorated and given the difficulty of it you can only access it with a traction vehicle. The good thing is that this route gains height very quickly and about 30 kilometers from the city of Mendoza can reach a height of 3000 meters above sea level. This leaves us at the door of a network of trails that can be used to return to the city with a very important drop in a few kilometers so we have very technical and steep trails, ideal for enduro lovers. It is important to warn that this route contains trails in the wild, so it is not advisable to enter this area without being accompanied by someone with much experience in the area since it is easy to get lost and the distances are great and if one misses the way you can get to throw yourself by a wrong path and what gets off in just minutes on a motorcycle, it can take hours to go back up and it is not good to spend a night out in the open at this point.
