To mark the completion of the Christmas celebrations, the city of Mendoza invited to participate in the Christmas City competition, and summoned the neighbors to decorate the fronts of private homes and shops of our city with Christmas, through decorative proposals that evoke that party. The fundamental idea is to encourage and stimulate the Christmas decorations in our city and thus develop the cultural manifestations of tradition. It is our intent says – that the city put on any Christmas. Category A and Category B private homes: trade. It is essential that participants commit to having ornamentations placed from 8 December until 6 January 2009.Los trades must be properly qualified. In recognition of participation and creativity the Municipality and sponsoring companies awarded category A 1st: Air Conditioning Split and mention and 2nd Prize: A TV color 21 inches and mention as Category B: 1st Prize: the sum of $ 2,000 (two thousand dollars) and advertising guidelines mention and 2nd Prize and the sum of $ 1,000 (one thousand dollars) and advertising. Prizes will be delivered in a formal ceremony on December 19 at the Plaza Independencia. The jury will be composed of a representative of the municipality, a representative of the CECITyS and a reference architecture or environmental design. The evaluation will be from 9 to 15 December, visiting the addresses of those who have registered. The jury’s decision is final.
