As we mentioned earlier, the Argentine Federation of MTB carries out competitions throughout the country. The Salto is one of the places chosen as a scenario that for the second consecutive year begins the national calendar of MTB competitions. A locality located in the District of Potrerillos belonging to the Luján de Cuyo Department, 5 km from the Provincial Route 89 that links it to the north with Potrerillos and to the south with Tupungato. The meeting takes place during the month of March, with competitive and promotional categories with a demanding Rally circuit for 12 km laps. The competition is supervised by ASO.MEN.CI.MO (Mendocina Mountain Cycling Association). It is a very attractive and dynamic circuit of 1300 mtrs. of height and that when being stuck to the mountain it has many “cerritos”, rocky zones and descents that do it still more fun.
