A typical autumn morning greeted us on Saturday. Thick gray clouds covered the shining stars that otherwise would have done us a wink. Our usual meeting place waiting for us with the aroma of coffee. As walkers arrived, the most familiar faces and, as always, a new face that makes us think that this activity gaining fans every day, the air was filled with hellos, smiles, hugs and kisses. Javi with his usual neat list was placing us in vehicles and finally departed for our beloved mountain, unparalleled wealth Mendoza puts our country proud. As we climbed up the road to Vallecitos, probably in response to many non-expressed wishes, the clouds were fading, the sun king reigned and the sky turned a pale blue unmatched. We ski center and descended transport. Each was prepared to begin to walk the proposed trail, arming the single file feature, indicate the beginning of the voyage. The clock showed 10:30. We started to climb the ravine Andresito whose Veguita announced by sound of crystal clear water that runs, solidified in parts by the intense cold of the previous day to form sculptures of bright and unruly ways in which the sun’s rays reflected . A halo of special energy felt in the atmosphere around us: joy, laughter, advice and exchange of ideas we were escorted to display the pass that form the Arenales and Lomas Blancas hills. The morning was bright, pleasant temperature and energy our bodies and demanded to continue, so we had lunch and snacks typical exchange arose. The color returned to our cheeks, the buzz of conversation filled the silence that fills our hills and restart the march cheerfully. The view that nature offered us was certainly magnificent. Whatever direction we view something that surprised us, being higher to look back and see a cloud was heading swiftly toward us, in seconds enveloped us, licked the air and the landscape is blurred. And he left as quickly as it came. By then we had reached the pass. From what he observed clouds allowed us sleepers since slid back and forth as if playing hide and seek. So in a moment in which they were opened could clearly make out the tremendous hill Peel. Our climb continued caressed by the breeze began to run and that as we gained height, became more fresh and intense. In small groups we were approaching the summit until about 13:30 we were all happy celebrating at our destination, the highest point of Arenales, 3300 m. Then the corresponding photo shoot to capture these moments in pixels by the cross she wore a plaque in honor of one of the climbers who had certainly been before us in the same place. And of course, there was no lack of proof of the development summit that left 31 miners record that had been there. The magnificence of the view was almost indescribable, the clouds were thick and glistening white mattress inviting to jump into them-as I have done some time in the bed of our popes, covering the hills of the foothills. Then stow away the proof, we started our descent to the col of Andresito. There we went back to reload forces that were already weakened and while some rested and relaxed others did this last hill summit (3140 m). Obviously, we record our passage. After the pleasant moment of détente and restart the lowering clouds with us seized the trail blurring our vision and cooling the air, to the point that the hair and beards began to show ice yarn. At that time we looked at the thermometer: 5 ° C under 0 We continue down to the Veguita and then broken down to our starting point. The fog was so thick that we could not get away from each other as silhouettes in smoke and lost. Thinking in a hot environment and somehow comforting drink Mausy arrived at the shelter where William, Vanessa, Violet and lovely breeze met our desires. Empowered with our minds entranced by the idyllic atmosphere of the Mendoza mountain and with a light heart by sharing day, we return to Mendoza mediating the afternoon.
