Santa Julia Annual Tasting is without a doubt one of the most important of Mendoza. With the slogan “We know each other through the wine”, 16 years ago the first tasting was done in the facilities of the Bodega Zuccardi, opening its doors to the general public so they can see where the wine is produced and taste more than 30 varieties belonging to the Santa Julia and Malamado lines.
Among red, white and sparkling wines, it is possible to attend to lectures guided by sommeliers where wine processes are explained, processing, how to taste them and the possibility of being “winemaker” for a day is also offered: designing your own cocktail Malamado . It is also trained in the art of pairing and the most technical aspects of the terroir in talks with agronomists.
In addition to wine, a space for olive oil space is also dedicated at Zuccardi. Since it started,and through various editions over the years the event changes, each having a different theme. In the edition dedicated to the cinema, for example, different groups of actors and actresses represented great personalities of the big screen. They were also participants in the music publishing different artists of Mendoza, and for the bicentennial year decoration was made according to this date, respecting colors and patriotic symbols.
