Organized by Hidrofitness Center, an institution based on responsible and committed practice of physical activity, both for children and adults and also as a social factor, motivator and integrator of this activity.
It is an event, which takes place in the southern department of San Rafael.
This marathon aims to promote physical activity in the open air, thus allowing the community to participate in recreational and mass activities in order to improve, educate, prevent and raise awareness about the effects of practicing a healthy lifestyle.
The proceeds are destined to generate improvements in the Pediatric Pneumonology area of ”Hospital Teodoro J. Schestakow” aimed at children and adolescents with cystic fibrosis, whose disease requires kinesiological rehabilitation that currently has the need for a specific room for this, improving so his quality of life.
The race will consist of different distances to run, jog or walk individually competitive or family in the categories of 2, 5 and 10K.
The long circuit from the Municipal Park Hipólito Yrigoyen towards the Sobremonte street, then turn left towards Santa Fe “El Gaucho”, go up to Ameghino turning to the left, Montecaceros passes towards San Juan Bosco always staying on the sidewalk or street (do not enter the park), then turn left towards Sobremonte street, cross it and continue bordering the park. Go up to Lisandro de la Torre, turn right, cross Av. Sarmiento and Cabildo towards José Quiroga where you turn right towards the bridges (Calle Ortega), arrive at Av. Roca turn right going up towards the Casnati street continuing towards Av. Sarmiento where it turns to the right and it goes up crossing Av. Deán Funes and 20 of June doubling by the street Suter, then to the right by Coronel Suárez and Germano street towards the left towards the cycle path where it descends by the same towards Av. Hipólito Yrigoyen continuing for the same until Ameghino doubling by the same one, where it crosses Santa Fe and Montecaceros until entering the park where a circuit is realized delimited within the same one.
