With that title were honored members of the Women’s Hockey national team, Las Leonas, in the province of Mendoza. In his extensive visit to the province of Mendoza, Argentina’s women’s team of hockey was honored with the title of Ambassadors of wine, in an event that was held at the Enoteca.
The Lions made, along with selected female and male Argentine Australia hockey team, a course wine tasting by the Bachelor of Oenology, Jorge Furio. Brief training was very dynamic and also attended the selected field hockey through questions about wine.
The event was attended by various authorities such as the Sports Secretary Mendoza, Martin Aveiro, Director of Sport Management and Organization, Veronica Mayol, Director of Tourism of Mendoza, Federico Vazquez de Novoa, treasurer Mendoza Wine Fund, John Mangiones, among others.
After receiving training in wine tasting, Luciana Aymar, captain of Las Leonas, Matias Paredes, captain of the men’s national team of Argentina and Maddona Blyth, the selection of Australia, received a diploma of distinction and a penguin gift for everyone of the members of the three campuses.
