The Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development reports that it has completed the season overlooking the Reserve Laguna del Diamante.
They entered the Laguna del Diamante 8,560 visitors from December to March, who enjoyed its scenic attributes and important biodiversity. The Reserve is located in the department of San Carlos and conserves water mirror which gives name to the place, which is at 3,250 m at the foot of the majestic volcano Maipo.
The proximity of snowstorms that in this age begin to develop in the mountains are the decisive factor for the Department of Natural Resources closed the season, avoiding accidents or dangerous situations that may affect visitors to the Reserve reason.
