The three major stadiums are located in the Parque Gral. San Martin, the largest in the City. The largest and most famous of the province, the Estadio Malvinas Argentinas, is located in the center of the park, and is accessed through the street San Francisco de Asis. It is owned by the provincial government, and is used by the club Godoy Cruz at home since 1994. It hosted the 1978 FIFA World Cup, also in the 2011 Copa America and the Summer Tournament AFA.
Victor Antonio Legrotaglie Stadium is located at the north end of the park, and is the fifth most gande stadium in the province. It is the stage where Gimnasia y Esgrima plays at home, is located at the intersection of Boulogne Sur Mer and Carlos Washington Lencinas. It has a capacity of 11,500 spectators, and was inaugurated in 1934, being named the most emblematic player of the club.
Regarding the Baptist Gargantini Stadium is owned by the club Independiente Rivadavia. It was loaned to the club by the governor Lencinas. It opened in 1925, and reopened in 2008. It has a capacity for 25,000 people and is the second largest stadium in Mendoza, after the Malvinas Argentinas. It is located in Sur Mer 788 Boulougne.
