Archaeologists Research Center of the San Francisco Ruins discovered what would be the basis of the ancient temple of that order, dating from late 1600 in the old part of the city. The archaeologists found the foundations of the ancient temple of the Franciscans dating from about 1700 and is located on the campus of Montecaseros and Chacabuco streets where currently the provincial Federico Moreno school is located. In excavations conducted from the first week of April to 22 May, we found a fairly old foundation wall that gives us the idea of what might have been the facade of the church of what was then the Church of Brothers of Charity.
