The Exo XXI is a Fair and Sustainable Development Environmental Education that takes place in mid-May, in Mendoza. It is a declared of municipal interest by the City, generating moments of reflection and action in favor of the environment in an artistic context of music, film and culture event.
The event includes an exhibition-fair with institutional stands, art exhibitions by local artists, photo exhibitions and installations. There are also all kinds of talks and exhibitions on science and technology with computer graphics and expografías. The environmental education workshops seek historical, permaculture, home gardens, animal protection and the flora and fauna of the province. They are usually aimed at children and adolescents in primary and secondary level, but also made to teachers and the general public.
Other things you can do during the fair have to do with interesting and various activities such as tree planting in public spaces and food tastings made solar ovens. Pivot tables and institutional partnerships on environmental responsibility, where panelists much local and national prestige involved also take place. There documents and agendas of emerging work are made.
During the fair the arts festival “Declarémosle Peace on Earth” takes place, and audiovisual productions with much scientific content are displayed. Plays that create an interactive environment with the public and artistic activities including music and choirs are also performed. The artists offer guided tours through their works and exhibitions.
