Harvester Festival is held every year in the department of Lavalle, in late March. It takes place in an area located 32 km from Villa Tulumaya, the head of the department, and is a tribute to the harvesters and wine producers who work the land every year to get off. Therefore, it is one of the holidays that are part of vendimial calendar.
The festival now has more than 20 editions you make, and the main attraction is represented by the musical performances that bring together provincial and artists of national stature. It also opens to the public a food court where you can eat different foods and typical regional dishes, while enjoying the live music on the big stage.
Abundas folk artists and music genres moved near the cumbia. It also takes place during the festival the election of the Queen Provincial Festival of the Harvester, whose candidates are submitted before the vote to be accumulating and public sympathy. Another important detail is that a walk with artisan stands and all kinds of regional elements is installed, highlighting those made in leather and wool.
The event is conducted by the Standing Committee of the festival and usually a total duration of two days. It has the presence of departmental queens and vintage, along with the departmental authorities. In closing a bailanta, which is part of the celebration in honor of all small and medium producers in the department wine it is made.
