Provincial Theatre Festival takes place in Mendoza, every year during the month of November. The event is organized by the National Theatre Institute in conjunction with the Ministry of Culture, and offers place to the works of local and provincial theater to be represented in various public places in the city.
The works are generally distributed in different parts of the province, and they all choose two then represent Mendoza in the National Theatre Festival, whose headquarters is also variable. A third work is appended to those already selected to participate in the Regional Festival Theatre. In the various shows converges traditional theater, pop, murga theater, clowning and theater for children.
The productions are usually two major venues: Mendoza and San Rafael City. Public places or separate rooms as the Cultural Space Julio Le Parc, Cultural Nave, the Cajamarca Chamber or Chamber are elected Anne Frank. Tickets are purchased by logging onto the website Theater in Mendoza or the venue, until one hour before each performance.
The festival also features workshops on theater criticism or issues related to the theater, and inside special activities often included the National Conference of Culture and Social Development. These consist of conferences, forums experiences, training workshops, workshops and cycles of videos. The jury pre-selected works is composed of members of the Litoral Centro National Theatre Institute.
