Potrerillos was once again the scene of the Oktoberfest, the beer festival was born in Germany and today is celebrated in different parts of the world. On Sunday October 7 traditional brewery Jerome El Salto Mendoza opened to tourists and lovers of good music and good beer. Live bands played in the gardens overlooking the impressive Cordon del Plata. Acted this year The Manifesto of the Winds, with Walter Casciani five saxophonists on the scene; West 33, The Bolivian and Nick and The Shots. In keeping with the origin of the festival, the gastronomic proposal included dishes originating in the Austro-German countryside, such as sauerkraut and sausage varieties and German desserts and artisan cakes in the area. The drink: beer varieties from red to black through soft blonde or devil. Despite the cold, there was plenty of beer and very cool on the Feast of the Mountain. Addition of hot drinks beer helped to “warm” bodies and spirits will be flattered. Buenos cheeses and meats, along with the obligatory sausage with sauerkraut, accompanied very well to the different varieties of craft beer. The proposal of the organizers was to go with casual and flashy costumes, rare accessories, hats, wigs and glasses. The slogan was Vestite color that you like beer. As in all celebrations there was breathalyser and each group was designated driver to return, who received a special discount voucher on drinking beer for another day.
