The National Goat Festival is held every year in Malargüe, province of Mendoza, during the first week of January. This is one of the most important festivals of the province along with the National Harvest Festival, which draws thousands of people, about 25,000 each year seeking enjoy the emblematic Malargüe goat and attend all activities that unfold around this holiday.
The event is held in conjunction with the Provincial Feast of Sacrifice, which has been concretized over 17 editions. Expo festival with a Goat and a contest of song and dance opens.
