During the first days of July every year takes place the Provincial Snow Festival. The venue for this event is the town of Malargüe, in the south of Mendoza, and is a party that brings full color fashion, music, food and culture all in one package. It takes place over twenty years ago in the province, and every year going for more.
One of the main attractions of this festival is the election of the Provincial Snow Queen, bringing together candidates from all departments of the province. At the end of the night, only one is crowned Queen, but all part of the festival and fashion shows. This is another of the most important events of the night: the fashion of the hand of top designers and top artists.
The live music and dance complement the glamor of the night. Professionals from many parts of the country and the province come to show their skills and musical and artistic talents, covering both rock and folklore as various musical genres.
