These are great folk shows that have been done since the eighties, with the aim of promoting the to the rest of the country. At their beginning, the festivals were dedicated purely to Cuyo rhythms, but over time they began to include folk music from all over Argentina. They are carried out in the Municipal Sports Complex. In less than twenty years, “Rivadavia Canta al País” became one of the most important folkloric events of the Nation, with a turnout of more than 100,000 people over three nights.
