This is the most popular event of Tunuyán. It is held at the head Village for four nights in February and is one of the most important folk festivals of Cuyo. As its name indicates, the festival is dedicated to the Tonada, a Cuyo rhythm, very popular among the local guitarists and which has become known internationally due to renowned performers, mainly Hilario Cuadros, Tito Francia and Armando Tejada Gómez.
