La Abeja Ranch and Winery was built by French inmigrant and founder of the city of San Rafael, Rodolfo Iselín, in 1883. La Abeja Ranch and Winery is considered San Rafael’s first winery; it’s edifice is the city’s historic center.
Capacity: 2,500,000 liters in epoxy pools and 10,000 liters in barrels. La Abeja Winery elaborates and bottles fine red wines for medium and high markets.
Guided visits: Monday through saturday from 9:30 to 13:00 and 15:00 to 19:30 hs.
Tour: Winery and cellar. Duration: 40 minutes.
