The House of Representatives passed the bill on Accessible Tourism, presented by Congressman Raúl Guerra (Peronist Axis), which aims to become a Mendoza Province for all, allowing anyone is out of the recreational use of knowledge of both cultural and natural attractions such as the exposure to different cultures. In the law is defined as tourism accessible to all oriented tourism and recreation that enable full integration activities arising during free time from the functional and psychologically, actively or passively, the disabled or reduced communications, whether temporary or permanent, in an open or closed environment, and cultural sites or enjoying nature. The executive and the municipalities of the Province will be responsible for improving and maintaining the state of access to places of interest, to allow movement of the persons mentioned in the law. For their part, private companies must adapt this system and adapt their facilities for the same purpose. The implementing agency will be the Executive, through the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Environment and the Ministry of Human Development, Family and Community. For the operation of this law poses to create Registry Accessible Tourism Providers, which shall govern throughout the province in charge for all types of accommodation, means of tourist transportation companies that provide food service and all those recreation sites and tourist entertainment. All companies that provide responsive transport service that are registered as providers of accessible tourism must meet certain requirements and obligations that people with disabilities will be allowed to go down any doors. Among others who have cars with non-slip floor and space for location of canes, crutches, wheelchairs, lower rungs, and when necessary, transport, should have special ramps. For hosting companies, they should have two rooms adapted twenty, with a minimum of rooms required for establishments that do not have twenty rooms in total amount. The same should these located on the ground floor or failing on the first floor. In the case of establishments that provide food service, must have service charters, easy to read for the visually handicapped, as well as Braille system; also a health located on ground floor and adapted for people with mobility problems. Both hosting companies and gastronomic establishment shall have stairs with steps whose vertical and horizontal dimension facilitate use by persons with reduced mobility shall be equipped with handrails. They must also have a reserved and marked area for vehicles that have ramps for people with disabilities. The latter requirement is also shared with the establishments that provide food service. Travel agencies incoming tourism must have in your team with at least one specialized in different individual forms of communication, such as sign language, who will accompany people with hearing disabilities in tours and walks perform. Establishments that provide recreation and leisure services in tourism should have posters and brochures understandable, useful, concise and practical, and can adapt Braille system. Finally, in order to promote Accessible Tourism, the Executive shall engage in advocacy at provincial, national and international level. In addition to this promotion should encourage all companies and organizations registered in the Register of Providers of Accessible Tourism, mentioning and publicizing their services without payment of any fee, by providers.
