Luján SA Express will open before the end of the year, a plant to recycle the water they use to wash their trucks and thus destine for irrigation. So the company avoids environmental pollution generated in the wash when water contaminated by oil, gasoline, detergent and other products is absorbed by the soil. The company has 60 trucks and the plant will purify 10 cubic meters of water per day. The plant capacity doubles the amount of water the company uses to wash trucks per day (5 cubic meters per day). It is the first carrier to implement the initiative. “There is a real problem and that the environment was always the last thing to take into account in the business and industrial sector. We are not a company that uses water in its process. Maintenance only use water but the pollution generated is very important so we started working on the project, “said Cantos Eduardo Cornejo, manager of the firm that works primarily with wineries and now reaches around the country through a network of logistics. Luján Express is a transport company that works Mendoza loads more than 50 years and employs about 300 employees.
