As in every corner of the globe, the arrival of spring in the valleys of the Cordillera de los Andes Mendoza brings a needed renovation that beautifies the environment with new colors, sounds and aromas. Since the days lengthen and the mere fact before dawn-and without heladas- gradually causes temperatures to be reached during the day. Thus, the first fruit begin to bloom, and among the early birds are plums, peaches, quince and apples. The birds have had during the winter passive behavior. But with the spring change the tone of their songs begin to clump together and begin their courtship. Then it is common to see them wearing different materials in its beak used to build nests. Some hummingbirds as they make their entrance on the scene after the lethargy experienced by low temperatures. It is the awakening from the winter sleep of hibernation. The appearance of hummingbirds coincides with the arrival of the first flowers, and they help pollination. Insects, mainly bees, filling the mountain air with their buzzing, and they begin to see the butterflies. The cactus flowers are filled with shining colors. Some are red, white, yellow, orange.
