Los Toneles was built in 1922 representing the architecture of the Industrial Revolution. The characteristic brick facade and its classic style gave this building an important visual attraction, that is still alive today.
The winery identifies the cultural values of Mendoza and the Golden Age of Argentine viticulture. The winery is part of the Cultural Heritage of Mendoza, due to these characteristics and its avant-garde virtues.
Los Toneles is one of the few urban type wineries of Mendoza, placed within the city.
Los Toneles Winery is equipped with the latest technology used for producing different styles of wine satisfying the most demanding markets. The winery has a capacity of 3.000.000 Lts within the epoxy painted cement tanks. Not only does the winery contain cement tanks but also stainless steel tanks and french and american oak barrels for aging Premium wines. Fermentation takes place under controlled temperatures and with selected yeasts.
The goal of Los Toneles is to find the perfect balance between technology and tradition.
