Organized by the Municipality of Junín, since 2011 the International Night Marathon has been held under the slogan “With its own light Junín shines more”.
The competition, with the participation of more than 1,000 athletes from all provinces of Argentina and neighboring countries, and “illuminates” the main arteries of the department of Junín.
Since its first edition, this competition was imposed among the most important provincial sports calendar and the growing number of registered mark the hierarchy that is gaining in each new edition ..
Its start is the Covered Stadium La Colonia and the completion in the Dueño del Sol Recreational Park. Along the route, competitors enjoy the spectacular night landscape, as well as the constant encouragement of neighbors posted on both sides of it.
The competitive route consists of 12K, but at the same time, for those who want to participate in a recreational way, they can participate in a 4K circuit that starts at Juan Bautista Alberdi square.
With the registration it is requested to donate a non-perishable food destined to help non-profit organizations.
