Following the appointment of the Seven Wonders of the World and the newly named Seven Natural Wonders, the creators of New 7 Wonders go ahead with their new global competition: the search for the seven most beautiful and wonderful cities.
Such competitions are well received and help to discover places of our planet that can be surprising. The nomination phase began on January 7 and will end at 23:59 pm. the March 6, 2012.
At this stage you can choose between 1200 cities worldwide. The next stage of this global competition is the qualifying period, which takes place from March 7 to 23 November. In this phase, the remaining candidates will be selected from among 300 cities resulting from the previous phase, including again the vote of the people positioned to 77 cities in the next phase.
The most important step of all will take place between November 23 and December 6, as it will be able to know when the 28 official finalists, selected by a diverse group of experts.
Finally, between December 7, 2012 and December 6, 2013, there will be progressive positions and elimination of cities, thanks to the vote of the people, which will result in at 7 winners who will be awarded the cities most wonderful world.
On December 7, 2013 will be released the expected result. Millions of people from all corners of the planet have contributed in choosing a title that says it all. No doubt that the seven cities will settle out winners as tourist destinations that are well worth visiting.
It is possible that, as has happened in other editions of the competition, some believe that the result is not quite right or that other cities deserve to be on the list. What is clear is that Mendoza is wonderful, and we really want to show it to the world !!!
