The fashion world was always linked with wine: the two are part of a lifestyle and make a perfect pairing. Therefore, every year during the month of May (variable date) is performed in Mendoza Wine Fashion Week, an event where elegance, avant-garde and the best of wine blends. It is sponsored and organized by the Municipality of the city along with Gabriel Canci Broadcasts.
The inspiration comes from creating a wine label design by Agatha de la Prada for a Spanish fashion week. The program includes five daily presentations for a week at the Sheraton Hotel Fader Hall. An imposing gateway is located, with specially designed scenery, screens and LED technology in lighting, video and sound.
Brings together national and international designers, fashion brands from around the world, couture houses (also highlighting local) and hundreds of models that exhibit art trends worldwide. Parallel and complementing the event, many prestigious wineries in the province are invited to taste their wine labels in strategically placed stands.
Some of the brands involved are crazy Norma Lopez, La Hermandad, Las Rozas, Alain de france, Nuances, Claudio Cosano, Leo Peralta, Patricia Griffouliere, Susana Gatti, Raul Saldeña and Dalila Tahan. Admission is free and can be purchased through the www.gabrielcanci.com page. They are in high demand, rapidly depleting, so we must be careful. Passes are also delivered to the participating designers.
