October has a feature for sanrafaelinos inhabitants: it is the anniversary month of the department. Therefore, during the 31 days of October you can enjoy many activities and shows performed in honor of San Rafael, combining a wide range of cultural events, ceremonies, shows, exhibitions and workshops.
Usual the inauguration of public works for the anniversary, and can attend exhibitions, tributes and music festivals. October coincides with the Coral Spring Meeting, which brings together regional choirs that represent very well the important influence of this genre throughout the south of Mendoza. The meeting is held every year during the tenth month of the calendar, and is part of the celebrations sanrafaelinos.
