Paints, acrylics, collages, maps and overlapping planes, color and pattern involving the imaginary samples in these four artists inaugurated on June 4, at 20.30 in the MMAMM. Mariotti, Jereb, Jury and Barrera inaugurate the exhibition which runs until 12 July in the Plaza Independencia Cultural Complex. Fernando Jereb presents “Future Imperfect. Visions of past, present and some variables of the future”, your acrylic paint on canvas, revolve around the issue of global warming and climate change. His work is felt for him a large mural featuring 38 fabric 60 x 60 cm determining a polyptych of 8 mx 1.80 m, where some dramatic monochromatic accentuating your alert message prevails. In his particular vision of reality, Fernando seeks to create in the viewer an awareness of what we have done to our planet and how to modify or change that. Is a recurring vision of regional conflict that is reflected in images of vines, leaves and bunches of grapes and the connection with the Mendoza roots. Jereb sample also has a cork corks installation root form that represents your relationship with the world of wine, their bond and attachment to the land, embodied in three dimensions. Mariotti and his work “A journey to consciousness; War and Genocide”, consists of works of digital editing and photo paintings of different sizes, made in fabric, referred to these tragedies of humanity. To reach a conscience must renounce the subjective and the particular. Techniques range from digital photomontage to paint combination thereof, all made in black-out of various sizes and formats. Moreover, Paola Barrera and young Omar Jury are selected to exhibit in the space to young talents who spends MMAMM artists. Paola Barrera, graduated from the School of Visual Arts UNCuyo presents oil paintings on canvas. This series of paintings has as its theme the city and city views from various points of view, usually a bird, what you see, what you think you are and what you think. Words and letters superimposed on maps, charts, streets and mazes, all combined in a game of spot colors. Jury Omar, a graduate of the College of Fine Arts – currently pursuing a career in the Visual Arts UNCuyo – features paintings on canvas expressionist, given by the use of color and an important mark of figurative drawing.
