We offer different adventure tourism options in the town of Potrerillos that allow you to enjoy a day outdoors and pure fun.
Potrerillos is a town located on the Andes mountain range, in the Luján de Cuyo Department, just 69 km from the capital city. During the journey, we will cross the Andean Corridor, where the Dam of the same name is located, a water mirror that reaches about 1,500 hectares of surface. The majesty of this setting, added to the beauty of the natural landscape, the clean air, the climate and the mountain environment, results in a great tourist and recreational potential at an international level.
In all cases the day begins with the collection of the passengers through the hotel, until reaching the activities base.
Option 01: Rafting of 70 minutes (Half day activity)
Moderate to difficult level. Minimum age 10 years. Minimun 2 persons.
A super fun activity, ideal for adventurers. A 12 km journey along the Mendoza River. One way to connect with the meltwater of the Andes, between the immense mountains that border it. The constant rapids provide action throughout the descent. In summer, with its greater flow, the Mendoza River drags sediments and forms holes and waves, making high-intensity rapids. In winter, the flow lowers allows us to appreciate the rocks that are part of the nature of the place.
It is advisable to bring personal equipment consisting of a swimsuit, flip flops, a towel and sunscreen, a change of extra clothes and a small backpack.
The service includes transfers, waterproof jacket and pants, helmet, paddle, life jacket, professional bilingual guide, mini course , safety talk, support kayak and personal accident insurance. Does not include lunch.
Option 02: Canopy Base Circuit (Half day activity)
Moderate difficulty. Minimum age 4 years. Minimun 2 persons.
Traveling through the air along a steel cable, sliding with a harness and a pulley, is undoubtedly an experience of pure adrenaline. 700 meters of route composed of 5 cables located 40 meters high, make this activity a unique adventure lasting 1 hour and a half, in which you can appreciate the spectacular panoramic view of the Potrerillos Valley and the Cordón del Plata (Cerro El Plata 6100 meters above sea level), mountainous formations of millions of years with geological layers of more than 20,000 feet elevation.
Recommended personal equipment is composed of sunscreen, hat or cap and small backpack.

Option 03: Canopy Adrenalin Circuit (Half day activity)
Moderate to difficult level. Minimum age 6 years. Minimun 2 persons.
An extreme sport in the heights, suitable only for adventurers. A total of 1,400 meters (4,593 feet) of travel, made up of 6 different cables that reach a height of up to 60 meters. A section of this route runs over the valley, while another section of more than 450 meters (1500 feet) of this route extends over the waters of the Mendoza River. An unforgettable 2-hour adventure, in which you will be able to appreciate the spectacular panoramic view of the Potrerillos Valley and the Cordón del Plata (Cerro El Plata 6100 meters above sea level).

Option 04: Rafting of 60 minutes + trekking with rappel
Moderate difficulty. Minimum age 10 years. Minimun 2 persons.
A 12 km route through the rapids of the Mendoza River, then a 20-minute ascent mini-trek to reach the top of the natural wall, from where we will descend, through a system of ropes, pulleys and harnesses, 38 meters high.
It is advisable to bring personal equipment consisting of a swimsuit, flip flops, a towel and sunscreen, a change of extra clothes and a small backpack.

Option 05: Rafting of 60 minutes + horseback ride of 1 hour
Easy difficulty – familiar. Minimum age 10 years. Minimum 2 people.
A 12 km journey through the rapids of the Mendoza River and then 1 hour of horseback riding during which we will cross rivers, climb mountains until we reach the top to obtain the best views of the Potrerillos Valley.
It is recommended to bring equipment consisting of swimsuit, flip flops, towel and sunscreen, change of extra clothes and small backpack.

Option 03: Rafting of 60 minutes + arborismo
Easy difficulty – family. Minimum age 10 years. Minimun 2 persons.
A 12 km journey through the rapids of the Mendoza River and then the most innovative adventure tourism activity, arborism, which involves moving between the trees. It is carried out by means of zip lines, suspension bridges, network tunnels, trunks suspended between the treetops, among other games, all several meters from the ground, always secured by a “life line” (steel cable) attached to the participant by harnesses and carabiners. An activity that combines fun and uninterrupted effort lasting 1.30 hours.
