The Anthropology and Archaeology areas are directed to the study of regional and local cultures. Botanic and Zoology hall show the local fauna and flora. The Palaeontology hall studies the development and evolution of the different geological periods that Mendoza went through. In Geology, that is divided in Petrography and Mineralogy, shows a collection of samples from both areas, while in Astronomy, the museum offers an astronomic observatory.
